  1. Adidas director of football Mark Daniels

“(Adidas) looks at this differently," Daniels said. "There are a lot of people out there with so many combinations of uniforms that it makes your head hurt, and I don’t know how you keep up with it all. We’re not going to go out there and put Nebraska in 17 different combinations of uniforms. We’re going to pitch a specific game on a fairly regular annual basis and celebrate Nebraska with an alternative uniform one game a year.”

How do you guys feel about this?

A new alternate uniform every year but only worn for 1 game.

  2. Norris pitcher Byron Hood committed to the Huskers. He is a 2014 prospect and throws in the upper 80's. Looks like another decent ball player for Erstad and company.

He has a good friend and teammate by the name of Jackson Reetz. Supposedly he is the higher rated prospect and will be looked at by many other colleges and possibly scouts. Can't hurt to have Byron in his ear for the next couple years.

Jackson Reetz is going to be an All-American type catcher at Norris by the time he is done.........he's only going to be a junior

  3. But DE has no managerial experience......He should be at Kent State

Ok seriously, the guy does have NO managerial experience. Please, please argue that fact. If Nebraska Football were to have fired Callahan and hired Eric Crouch as their Head Coach, people would have FLIPPED. Just because you were really good at a sport does NOT make you a great coach. Plain and simple. The thing that Erstad has done to really, REALLY help him was bring in a couple of GREAT assistants in Bolt and Silva. Great comeback again for the 2nd time in 2 weeks, but we should not be struggling against teams that we have. 5-4 is not a great record for the teams we've played. We'll grow, but don't act like DE isn't inexperienced and learning.

    Dude I was being sarcastic

  4. I think it is important to point out a few facts that several are overlooking in this thread. First Braylon was doing well early on at RB, but he had health issues keep him out for a significant portion of the year. He wasn't playing because he wasn't as good or better than the other 2 frosh, but simply because he wasn't fit to play. By the time he was healthy again, he missed out on key development time that the other 2 got and hence his PT wasn't as much as those 2.

Second, as noted above, SJB hurt his knee right after the OSU game and missed time because of it. AG also started surging and solidified his spot across from AD. SJB still needs development as a CB, this Spring is huge for him, so losing out to someone who has been focusing solely on CB for the past 3 plus years isn't a knock on SJB's potential.

Finally, Braylon was heavily recruited as a CB in HS. Many schools wanted him on D ala Prince. Let him redshirt this year and get back to focusing on CB and he could be a stud there.
