I think both his toe and his ankle will be healed sufficiently by then. What I worry about the most is his lack of focus. I know he's a frosh and all, but seriously, if I have to watch him hand off to Burkhead then walk away while Rex tries his best to fight off three defenders I think I'll blow a couple veins in my head. Maybe he's afraid to get hurt, but holy cow, no one player is THAT important.

I'm gonna withhold judgement on this til I see something official. But I will say this: Nebraska is a place you come to because you're privaledged to do so. Your heart should beat for your team. Regardless of how much talent you have, if you don't feel that way, you shouldn't be here. At this point only Taylor (who is a phenominal talent) knows that. Fanatacism for this team is easy, talent is rare, can't even fathom a talented athlete signed with this team not feeling that way.

There's no disputing they're a MUCH improved team with Tannehill (sp?) at the helm, but the Pelini wrinkles have been awefully effective.

Wow, I like to joke about how good he plays when he's ticked off, but that's SERIOULSY uncool.

Gotta say, A & M is one of the very FEW things I don't despise about Texas. That being said, blow-outs rock! I miss the old days watching the clock to see if we'll hit the 60's. Don't see that happening this weekend though. Winning by a touch or two is probably as good as it'll get. Aggies should have come to Lincoln if they wanted a better shot. :]

First, I've always kinda liked A & M, so this isn't a trash piece. Watching film on these guys, they've got a few nice players, but a receiving corps can't beat a quality defense by themselves. I'm not really sure about all their game decisions, but give the coaching staff their due: they do get thier kids to play hard. This game wouldn't even be in question if NU could just figue out one thing: Where's our motivation button? We play some pretty good ball when our players feel unappriciated and disrespected. Would someone PLEASE tick off Niles Paul again!

Whatever it takes, please tell me you come out with an attitude and make a dfference!!!! In a game closer than 14 points we get tooled. carry us over!

It's not like there's anything else he could say, but SDSU running up our gut bothers me tremendously. Our D line has performed at a B- level so far, but our gap responsablity from our linebackers has been HORRIBLE. LD is fun to watch, but if he doesn't start taking his assignments seriously we're gonna have a real problem. Thomas might be a smidge better than SDSU's backs.
