I hate that people seem to be worried about Iowa. Really? Iowa? Really? If Iowa ever beats us, I may just curl up on my bed and hide out until the bowl game. Actually, if we lose to Iowa, it probably means we won't be in a bowl game because we would have to suck that bad... which means that I would have to just quit my job and hide out until the following season.

You know I'm not how fond I am of this set up anymore. Mich St gets fricking Indiana every year while Wiscy gets 'Sota? Everyone else gets a possible loss while these seem to be pretty much "expected" wins. Granted we face Penn St, who may be down for awhile but still I'm not so sure these games shouldn't just rotate like the other cross div games. Freaking Indiana every year...come on man.

Can you believe Taylor has only thrown two picks since the Wiscy game? That's pretty good considering MSU was tip ball. Other was late pick in first half against OSU.

I think the entire stadium wearing black would send a HUGE message to the world, the disgust for this whole deal. The stadium, which is normally all white would be a huge STATEMENT if it showed up in only black. A game of morning and outcry if you will. Just my thought, anyone else?

I'm not sure fans today are much different than fans in the Osborne Era. The difference being we now have social media to vent our frustrations. All the frustrations being expressed today are what was being said in coffee shops and cafes in the state 30 years ago. Instead of Joe and Harold hearing us around the table at the Mom and Pop Cafe we can now have dozens or even thousands read what we have to say. All to often it is the ones who wear their emotions on their sleeve or get their sense of self worth through the game day exploits of 20 year old football players. They make statements they are feeling (rational or not) minutes after the game. Try not to comdemn the whole of Husker Nation over the actions of 10 or 15 posters who may or may not have had a bit too much to drink. The sun will come up today...just an hour later!

Big difference is that one had to bitch to someone, to their face, in person for all present to know who said what. Now people just give themselves a new handle and shoot off at the mouth with no consequences. Everyone knows someone and everything. In the past people already knew if someone was a moron before they opened their mouth and said TO needed to be fired. Today they hide behind a screen name.

We can't make a living having TMart on the edge pitching the ball and being so lose with it...... or making the wrong read on a ZR option.

I think fans makes a HUGE mistake here. The plays you refer too are not "miss reads". They are much more likely call plays. In the option game you must keep defenses honest and use certain plays/looks to set up future plays. You have to feel out the defense, give them looks and get them thinking too much. As far as loose play pitching the ball, the option has been and always will be harrowing on the corner. It works best with the late pitch after someone on defense has committed to the QB. The safe part of running it to the short side is a bad pitch will likely harmlessly go out of bounds. Instead off jumping on Taylor every time a play looks suspicious, try asking yourself..."what are they setting up?" I have a feeling down the stretch as teams commit to stop Rex we again will see the speed of Taylor's feet shine. Last year I think Mizzu was 100% committed to stopping Taylor and Roy had a record setting day. Just my thoughts.

Hard to tell. If he is screwing off or not playing hard, then, yes, it's a lesson. However, I get the sense that he simply lost the practice battle and didn't get to play. I could be wrong, but if I am right, then it's ridiculous that he could not come in for a single play. If we have seen one flaw with this coaching staff it's that they want to play the top 22 and nobody else.

I think it had to do with his public statements about his QB!
