The entire O-line that sits on their behind and watches 5 ineffective players get used for every offensive snap.

well, he can pick Gophers and play in a boring offense,OR he could come to the land of Big Red and play exciting offense.

Yeah it's not like the time Bo was knowingly untruthful to Charles Jackson about who his position coach would be.
Mike Riley is comparably as dishonest as Bo Pelini, awesome!
Ugh...Bo?
-
Of course, there was a coaching change, and the new coach was all about the defense!

No way they move him when he's played RB for 4 years now. He has one year left. Way to much to learn to have one year to contribute over there, even if there is a need for more lb. He'll stay at RB and be our 3rd down and goal guy. He's the bruiser. Taylor will beat him out because he is the same size but quicker and has more runway ahead of him. He just needs some contact and some time to learn the new system. Even the players and coaches have described Adam as a faster cross. And he's built perfectly for a pro style nfl system.
Okay, there is a way, because in 2007, Cody Glenn was a better than average running back at NU. In 2008, his senior season, he played linebacker, and he was drafted in the 5th round by the Washington Redskins (they like them some Huskers) and went on to play also for the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens.

I thought I heard yesterday on Sharp and Benning that Noah is now being recruited as a TE since we only have one in this class and Bubak has committed to ASU. I hope that will make the difference and Noah comes to NU.
-
The more I read about this situation, the more I believe it is best for both parties to part ways. A TE at NU better be able to block. Pro style or spread offense, whatever. It is time to move on. I never was excited about his commitment, and if he wasn't contacted for six weeks by the incoming coaching staff, they may not have been overly excited as well. JMPO.

He Gone!....................................................................................................................NEXT!!!

N! WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad Bo is gone! Let's hope Mike Riley can do a little better than 9 wins and 4 losses. I like MR's attitude and demeanor, and I do hope he is a better leader of men than BP was.
Go Big Red!!!

I hope he comes to Nebraska.

OSU or San Diego Chargers...
-
That is the only name I had heard so far. I would think he would have inroads to LA/Cali. He would also add much needed diversity to the staff. JMPO...

Any idea who will be Riley's pick for WR coach?
-
Let's hope the Davis hire snags another 4-star RB that wants to be at Nebraska and who will fit our scheme.
-
His last name isn't Papuchis or Cosgrove. That's all I needed to know.
Papoowho?

I hope Riley sold the twins on not having to play paddy-cake and looking forward to an attacking defense. Good riddens Kaz...hello to real Defense!

I bet we could get these two guys for the price of a Jay Foreman.

I wish Bussey the best. I just don't think we will be running a spread style offense which he is comfortable with. I also think NU will be fine with what we have in the cupboards. Glad this drama is over.

I support the decision to terminate Bo Pelini because 9-10 wins is no better than 6 wins; which is all you need to get to a bowl game. His record is 5-20 against ranked teams and he has never won a conference championship (even though he should have against Texas after them getting one second on the clock). The football program has always been a source of great pride for the state of Nebraska and over the last several years it has become completely irrelevant in college football. If mediocrity is what you want, then Pelini is your guy. As for me, I want Nebraska to return to the once great program it was and that was never going to happen under Bo.

I think most would agree he has done good things here. It's that he hasn't done great things.
He's done some good things...

I think we need to clean house! None of this, you have to keep a coach cause I say so.

He is doing excellent in all phases of the game...
Imani Cross.........

Imani Cross is one of my favorite players. He has worked harder than any running back since he has been at Nebraska. He is a class man, and I hope he finishes his Nebraska career with a really big boom. I hope we win our next two games and our bowl game, and he is a big part of those wins.
