  1. Aspeedlin, I remember watching that game and after that hit, Richt went apesh!t about it. He had a couple of dirty hits in that game and should have been ejected and suspended for it. I watched a couple of Auburn games this year and in everyone of them, the people calling the game made some comment about Fairley being acused of being a dirty player, truth speaks I guess.

  2. I think T.O puts in his opinion more often then none when it comes to what goes on within the fb program. He witnessed the down years of the team just like everyone else did and he is going to try and prevent that from happening again.

I think he is kind of like the father that passes the family buisness off to his kids but still gives input because he built the company up and doesn't want to see it fail.

Maybe T.O feels alittle guilt for not really having anything to do with the program during the down years and he is just doing what he thinks is best for the program even if it means a little backseat managing.

  3. If the kid wanted to come here to staighten out, why not let him. There is no better place then Neb. and no better people to get him right then Tom O. and Bo.

The kid has all kinds of talent and would help this team out one way or another. He could redshirt and have two years to play.

  4. This is the first real year for us to run the zone read. We have an offensive staff that does not specialize in any of it and are learning along with the players. It isn't something that you can just go out and do it to perfection. How many on here just popped out of their momma and hit the floor running?

I'm willing to give the players and the staff atleast another year before I start getting my undies in a bunch.

  5. I was watching the Under Armour AA practices on ESPN this afternoon and they got to talking about how tOSU is the best in the Big 10 because of the overall speed that they have. Right about then, Jamal Turner caught a short pass and made the defender miss and ran it in for a TD and the announcers said that is the reason that Neb. will do good in the Big 10 because of the speed they will bring to the confrence. With guys like Jamal, Aaron, Braylon and the slew of guys we already have, we will be the second fastest or the fastest in the Big 10.

For some reason, I'm not at all worried about our schedule and think we will be one of the best in the confrence.

  6. Just because your an oline coach doesn't mean that you know how to coach every blocking scheme there is. Some are better at teaching man blocking compared to zone blocking and vice versa.

If we ran a power running game with a little pass thrown in, I bet our oline would be like night and day compared to what we have now.

  7. Wisc. OC and Oline coach will go to Texas... So thats a no go

I would be up for Mangino coming in and grooming beck to be OC alittle later on or I

would also be very pleased if R.R would come here as OC. He had some great offenses at WV and has a good offense this year.

  8. Have any of you ever had that feeling of when no matter what you do or say that nothing goes your way and/or no one listens and you just throw your hands in the air and say F#UCK IT!!! I think thats the mentality that he had Thurs. night after the offense kept self exploding.

Maybe he thought there is no since of getting mad because it didn't do any good during 3 other games this year.

  9. The big 10 has the reputation for being a downhill running confrence, but only a couple teams acually do it. I would say Wisconsin, MSU and maybe Iowa are the more downhill teams, but everyone else runs a spread version of sorts.

I think the peso will work just fine in the Big 10.

  10. Isn't Tevins upside the reason that he is rated so high. I think I read that he has only played corner for a year or two.

Between him and Jackson, I will take Jackson because of his versatillity and probably his better knowledge of the position. It would be great to keep both though.
