I just wanted to say hi to everybody. It's great to see a board that's filled with a bunch of Husker lovers. I can't wait to share all my insider knowledge . I just wanted to let everybody know when I post you better read, or you'll miss out on some seriously good stuff.

What a crock....the only true insider is Sean Callahan on RSS. He's so good they even let him go to practices so he can tell all the rest of us what's really going on inside NU football. He has a buddy there too that is pretty good....Roz Colostemy or something like that is his name. He even gets on national radio and TV to talk about recruiting and the Huskers. I know insiders and you're no insider boris.

The BBS on huskerpedia just canned quite a few members, and it probably isnt unusual for sites to do that, so there may be more out there.

There is no one on HP that has the mental capacity to post a coherent or knowledgeable comment about NU football so I doubt it's HP rejects that have invaded this site.

I sir am an Eagle and I love to eat fish....particularly trout and salmon. Do you have any good recipies for trout or salmon?

how many of these guys should we get each year. I mean we dont git walkons no more much. so shouldnt we really get more each year. it seems like all half of them want to do is eat.

In response to your question, we need two or three a year....no use in running up the training table bills for fish like Pike anyway.

I am confused on the Rose criticism. His reporting of the game is crystal clear, and how could one complain of his mentions of ole NE high school players mascots! Show some pride!

Here is a thread that hopefully will combine every other thread since the new guys got here. That way I can talk about other things without it reverting to this argument. So guys, I think that firing Solich was the right thing to do and that Callahan was an excellent hire. Discuss, citeing examples of why I am correct or incorrect.

Incorrect. Other than recruiting that has yet to be proven on the field, what has BC done other than dwindle away several more of the few remaining records that NU had established, suffer the worst defeat (70-10), lose to teams like ISU/KSU/SMU, etc. that had no business beating the Huskers, hiring coaches that can't seem to keep a job anywhere else like Elmo, brought a has been coach from the Little 11 that based on results, doesn't know skat from shinola about defense, stuffed a 10 pound play book down the throats of 18-22 year old kids and didn't understand they don't have 20 hours a day to study it and practice football like they do in the NFL......and the list goes on. And you think BC is an improvement over Frank?

Rose is a gem of a guy and will be fine. At least he is a Nebraska fan.

I understand he's really in with the south stadium crowd and tells it like it really is. Is that your understanding? It's hard to get the real facts from these self-proclaimed 'insiders" on some of these so called Husker boards. You see all kinds of rubbish about players and coaches that is not very flattering to the Husker program. Maybe the insiders here aren't that way ..... just signed up because a friend of mine said it was the best Husker board out there.

Pavelka, hands down.  I don't care what he did to Saddlemeyer and KFAB...he's still the best around (since Lyle isn't anymore).

 

I dont see whats wrong with Roz....he's so much better than Swine was. Plus he brings lots of nebraska colour and knowledge of the program into his play by pay commentary.
