Don't pay attention to anything he says on twitter. He'll play mind games with you. He's got a chance to be very, very good at the college level, but he needs some work. He doesn't try hard at times. That likely contributed to his pedestrian HS stats.
-
This might be good as I think he is probably an Arkansas lean right now, but if we can have a great season and Ark. struggles some then that might tip the tables.
If last season didn't turn him away, no way this year will.

Sam Pittman is an incredible recruiter. He's pulled 4 OL recently and all had offers from the likes of Alabama, Texas, Florida, Ohio St, Oklahoma, etc.
-
Johnson's teammate Denzell Evans said tonight that Johnson is leading towards Arkansas.
-
Our recruiting guy tweeted this morning that "Monday will be a good day".
Most are assuming it is about Johnson or Dan Skipper.
-
Johnson is in Fayetteville for his official.
-
I still think Johnson will pick Nebraska, but Sam Pittman is recruiting him for Arkansas, and he is a fantastic recruiter. Pittman has worked his magic on OL from Hawaii already. Wouldn't be totally shocked to see him do it again, if Johnson does indeed visit Arkansas this weekend.

I don't understand how Arkansas keeps getting involved with some of the recruits that we are in on. They don't have a solid coaching staff set for the future. I'm sure we are sitting pretty, but between him and Hannon with the hogs...sheesh. I know the sky isn't falling, just really confused what the draw is down south to Arkansas.
of course the sky isnt falling, we have beat them for Siesay and Hannon, they beat us for Tevin Mitchell but they cheated by giving his mom a job at the university, and Petrino later got fired for giving his GF a job at the university, among other things.... ironic.
They finished 3rd or 4th last year i think, and are rated in the top 10 again this year, and they are in the SEC so those are big draws, and its closer to home for a lot of recruits. I havent heard anything about Arkansas being involved with him thou, we will have enough trouble pulling him off the west coast, but again we are in a great spot with him and the visit should set it over the top. Im thinking hes wearing red in the end. He would redshirt and be a 4 year starter at center, imo.
Lol at the Tevin Mitchel part. His mom does not work for the UofA. Dude is originally from Arkansas, not that hard to understand.
We have ALOT of West Coast guys on our staff. We have two commits from California right now.

Said this morning he will make his announcement on twitter at 4PM on Wednesday.

Hannon told one of our(Arkansas) recruiting guys earlier that he will decide tomorrow.
-
apparently offered by Arkansas today
For some reason, Johnelle doesnt worry me as much as Bobby did...
Believe it or not, John L. is a much better recruiter than Petrino. John L. actually makes an effort, after Petrino's firing we found out Petrino didn't even make an effort to meet and interact with recruits, and that pissed off alot of fans. On in homes getting close to NSD would be the 1st time Petrino met recruits, which is completely unacceptable.
Recruiting is going pretty well right now with the interim coach, our staff is doing wonderful jobs of selling recruits on the school. Our new DL coach that recruits Lousiana is doing some major work down there. He flipped Otha Peters from Tenner right before NSD and our two current commits are from Louisiana. I wouldn't be shocked if we get majorly involved here.

He could play several different positions at the college level. RB, LB, DB, WR, etc. He is coming to our Jr day this weekend and he said he would commit if all goes well.
-
He grew up in Northwest Arkansas, and moved to Tahlequah. He made several unofficials to Arkansas this past year, It's hard not to see him at Arkansas right now.
-
I got very happy all of the sudden.
cheeheee......
sounds good.. dont want to get too cocky but looks like we might be out of that nasty hog sh#t woods finally
Nope... You won't be until he signs on the dotted line.

CB Charles Jackson, 5-10, 175, 4.36 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Spring (Texas) Klein Collins said he’s committed to Nebraska but is keeping his options open and is looking at Arkansas and some Texas schools. Jackson, who played in the U.S. Army All American game on Saturday, roomed with Hog commitment Tevin Mitchel during the week of the game. He said Mitchel recruited him while they were in San Antonio.

Did you offer his mom a job too?
You know it buddy.
What was that? Terrelle Pryor (projected TE at the next level according to Kiper Jr.) just threw yet another TD pass through Arkansas's horrible secondary.
Oh look, Washington just ran for another 270 yards against the "vaunted" Nebraska Defense.

What im thinking too.
-
Look for an announcement at 6:00 tonight.
-
Per Rivals, cut his list to:
Alabama
Arkansas (visiting 1/14/2011)
Auburn
Florida State
LSU
Ole Miss
Tennessee (visiting 1/21/2011)
UCLA
I remember when Neb was believed to be his fave with like one other school. What happened to that?
We didn't offer to pay
Maybe Coach Petrino is going to give him a personalized jersey/locker.
Or maybe he could have Mr. Anger management problems go off on him on the sidelines.

13.6.7.9 Activities. An institution may not arrange miscellaneous, personalized recruiting aids (e.g., personalized jerseys, personalized audio/video scoreboard presentations) and may not permit a prospective student-athlete to engage in any game-day simulations (e.g., running onto the field with the team during pre-game introductions) during an official visit. Personalized recruiting aids include any decorative items and special additions to any location the prospective student-athlete will visit (e.g., hotel room, locker room, coach’s office, conference room, arena) regardless of whether or not the items include the prospective student-athlete’s name or picture.
They were not personalized. They did not have a name on his name on the back. It was just a blank #8 jersey. What you don't realize every school in the country does this including Nebraska.

All SEC schools send bulk letters like that. Ole Miss sent over 100 to a kid last year. We sent 84 to a '15 recruit about a month ago.
