Won't be disappointed to read about Amy Williams getting a pay raise in the very near future.

Mavric, you have the point spread for the Temple game at 28 on the spread sheet, but it should be 25. Score of game 28-3.

Yesterday a Maryland player was hit by pitch and called back because the umpire decided he didn't make enough of an effort to get out of the way of the pitch. Jake Adams didn't look like he made any effort to get out of the way of that pitch. Probably better that he did get to first because they didn't score, but it's the principle. The Maryland coach got thrown out of the game for arguing.

Anybody watching the women's bowling championships on ncaa dot com? It appeared that Nebraska had beaten Maryland Eastern Shore 4-3, but some official looking person was talking to our coach and it looked rather serious. I almost thought by the look of things that we were being disqualified for some infraction. It took a while, but when I finally was able to get a stream back up, it looked like we were involved in a five frame bowl off. Our second bowler was credited with a 0 / 0 frame and I'm guessing that they had disqualified one of our bowlers for some reason. Well anyway, our women showed up and after the first frame where we scored a spare and then in the second 0/0, the women got strikes in every remaining frame to win. Weird stuff. We're still in it, even though we are in the losers bracket.

And Minnesota plays Wisconsin on Wednesday. We could be back on top next poll if we take care of business this week.

As far as Indiana's schedule is concerned, they just played Minnesota and Wisconsin last weekend and tonight Nebraska. Number 1, 2, 3 in the nation. Can't get any harder than that.

The women's volleyball team came back from a two set deficit last evening to beat Michigan State 3-2. They won the 5th set 16-14. Great job ladies.
