ACORN Busted Yet Again *Updated Again 9/18*

ACORN is at it again. When they're not collecting fictitious voter registrations, they're breaking into foreclosed homes to house squatters, or its founder's brother embezzling $1 million of taxpayer/donations dollars without alerting the proper authorities, they are yet again embroiled in another unlawful controversy.

This time they are busted trying to aid an citizen investigative video team impersonating a prostitute and her pimp to evade taxes, set up a shell company, launder money for political donation, and cover up the trafficking of underage illegal immigrant females as prostitutes.

These people help elect our politicians and receive billions in tax money from them in return. There is $4 billion dollars set aside in the stimulus for community organizing groups such as this in the stimulus passed earlier this year as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

These are some of the groups that are direct offshoots of ACORN

UPDATE

Okay, a person could make the argument that one instance is just a couple bad actors. Two instances of fraudulent activity is troubling. But three instances uncovered after ACORN said they tried and were turned away in New York City even though evidence to the contrary has been released. This leaves one to believe this is a nationwide activity.

Will update as story progresses..........

Update #2

This time our resourceful pimp and prostitute head to the West Coast, and I think you know where this is going to lead. This video is even crazier than the others, because the ACORN representative admits to killing her hubby in "self defense"; but did she? You decide. She also names the names of government officials she has worked with and for. In the next few days, watch the Congress critters who worked with this woman scramble for cover like roaches when the lights come on.

Update #3

SOMEBODY hired a PR Firm.

Lewis spent the last two weeks "killing the messenger." Accusing them of McCarthy-ite tactics, doctoring the footage, and going as far as threatening them with legal action. Now, Lewis is thanking them?

From Jake Tapper of ABC Blog

In a press release, ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis says, that as “a result of the indefensible action of a handful of our employees,” the group will immediately stop accepting anyone into ACORN office for service programs, will conduct in-service training of staff, and begin an audit “to review all of the systems and processes called into question by the videos,” to be conducted by the group’s Independent Advisory Council.

....And who will be on this "Independent" Advisory Council you ask?

The Council includes many prominent Democrats, including the man who helped President Obama Transition Team, John Podesta, President and CEO of the Center for American Progress; former Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend; Andrew Stern, International President of the Service Employees International Union; and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros.

Henry Cisneros - Disgraced former HUD Secretary of then President Bill Clinton who plead guilty to lying to the FBI has worked extensively with ACORN in the past.

Kathleen Kennedy Townsend called the ACORN voter fraud investigation a "smokescreen." (Even though it ended in multiple indictments in 13 states.)

Andy Stern - Heads SEIU. ACORN controls or significantly dominates several SEIU chapters. Stern hand-picked ACORN’s co-founder Wade Rathke to direct SEIU’s nationwide organizing projects.

John Podesta - runs the Soros-funded Center for American Progress, which has been coordinating the public defense of damaging news reports and editorial criticism of ACORN this summer.

Okay, I guess it isn't as independent as everyone thought. It's more like the Sheriff, whose brother is the Judge, who happens to be the cousin of the tow truck operator that has you car impounded, who's the nephew of the guy you caught cheating you at cards. In other words, the deck is stacked and you're going to be drawing hard 13's all night. Action from this group will be more like a wink and a nod between giggles. Why would the Democrats destroy a group that boasts a membership of 500,000 who is at their beck and call to rig a few ballot returns, and strong arm a business or two into donations. Corruption is hard work you know. Better to have some low level cretin do their dirty work for them, than to get their hands dirty.

Update #5

Rumors of more video from other locations to be released tonight.

Update #6

As promised, another video was released........

This time our helpful ACORN representative has "contacts" to help our resourceful pimp and prostitute get their under aged Guatemalan sex slaves into the country without having to go through all that tedious governmental red tape.

what? this could possibly be where part of our deficit is going? Dateline/60 minutes is needed here. case solved

The media will not touch this story unless they're forced to.

They've invested too much into the last election to let some organization with heavy ties to the DNC, that has broken probably every RICO statute in the book, to bring it all crashing down around their ears.
