Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices

I haven't made these but I heard these were really good. My friend used Amberboch Beer.

 

Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices:

 

Dipping Sauce For Jalapenos:

 

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 T. Horseradish Sauce

2 tsp. ketchup

1/4 tsp. paprika

1/4 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. dried oregano

1 dash black pepper

1 dash cayenne pepper

 

**Or use Jalapeno Ranch Dressing

 

Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices:

 

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. ground black pepper

1 tsp. chili powder

1 tsp. garlic powder

2 eggs

1 cup beer-(preferably Amberboch)

1/2 quart vegetable oil

2 cups sliced Jalapeno Peppers-(can use jarred Jalapenos or Jalapeno Rings_-pat dry with a paper towel)

 

1. Mix flour, salt, pepper, red chili powder, garlic powder, eggs, and beer together in a bowl.

 

2. In a deep fryer, or large pot heat oil to 365 degrees.

 

3. Dip the sliced Jalapenos in the batter. Place battered Jalapenos in deep fryer. The Jalapenos are fully cooked when they float to the surface of the oil. They should be golden brown and crispy.
