0-10 Big Ten bowl record

And the INT should end it.

Good fight from MSU. Wish we had played as solid today as we did against them.

... or maybe not. FG wide right. Nice coacing by Richt: 2 yd run on 1st down, center the ball on 2nd down, losing the two yards back, miss a FG on 3rd down.

UGA misses what should be an easy FG and the game goes on....still a horrible day for the Big Ten though... eerily similar to last year.

With that one it's not so bad so far. Nebraska sadly self destructed, Penn didn't have their quarterback and Ohio state lost by a score to a Florida team in Florida. If Wiscy wins it will be a decent day.

Really BIG and PAC12? You don't even have enough pull to get the Rose Bowl on network TV anymore? If this is the case, they may as well move it over to the BTN and PAC12 network.

Really BIG and PAC12? You don't even have enough pull got too much money to get the Rose Bowl on network TV anymore? If this is the case, they may as well move it over to the BTN and PAC12 network.
Fixed it.

:D

The funny thing is that the money comes from the same place but with a lot less TV sets. I guess Dr Phil wins.

Only 2 bowl games are on network tv, ESPN has a nice monopoly going. This will bring a pretty bad non competitive circle on us. ESPN will overbid billions on content then simply charge your cable provider more. Recently they charged 3 bucks per basic cable user, now it's 5. There is nothing to stop them , they can just throw more money out on any event and simply hold sports in the US hostage increasing prices. O yea and unlike regular networks we get to watch commercials and pay them at the same time.

There is something we can do, drop the services, if we have the marbles to do it. I just read an article that in 2011 in the US, cable and sat actually lost a quarter of a million subscribers. I just think it's bad policy on the part of the conferences to not try to reach the maximum number of TV sets that they can and I bet they could get the same amount of money if they really tried. ABC already has the Saturday afternoon and night games, no reason the major bowls shouldn't have been kept on the over the air network.
