I actually saw someone pissed at the Cubs for starting a brawl in a post season baseball game.

Looks like it's Lester, Hendricks then Arrieta again for first 3 games. That's not a bad lineup. Obviously Hendricks is the weaker of the three but if we can get 5-6 good innings out of him and then have a well rested bull pen to finish it off, we might be pretty good there.

Hopefully our offense keeps on scoring runs for these guys.

 
On a different note. I think KC is in trouble with Houston. Houston is playing some dang good baseball right now and KC didn't necessarily finish the season strong.

 
After three innings, I would never have guessed that Kershaw would be out of the game before deGrom.

 
Although Lackey has pitched well at home all season i'd be lying if I said I was confident in him shutting down the red-hot Cubs. Then the game started. Hell of a performance by "Big John" and the Cards rookies (Piscotty and Pham) showed up with 2 huge swings in the 8th.

 
Tough Saturday for me. My beloved Huskers lost. Then, I had to watch the Cubs take advantage of my Cardinals. Seriously, that was HUGE game 2. Unfortunately, the cubbies have the advantage in the series with game 3 being in Chicago and Arrieta on the mound (the guy is a beast and has a great beard). Cards should have pitched Wacha in game 2 and thrown game 3 by pitching Garcia.

 
I don't agree with this suspension. This is how this has been played for a very very long time.

Now, I agree that the rule needs to be changed and that type of slide needs to be made illegal. But, to all of a sudden suspend a player in the playoffs for doing something players do all over the MLB is just wrong.

Change the rule for next year and move on.
