2017 State of the Huskers - Quarterback

Neat? I don't think it's just QB's who are transferring schools if they aren't happy with their playing time but that's on you as a coaching staff also to recruit guys who might not be prima donna 'flight risks' also.

Do people think POB is one of those possible kids who if he doesn't get pt might transfer? I'm old school so for me my attitude is let him go then.
Well, you asked for stats....
This made me lol

Oh boy....

Stats like the one he used as an example to me are ridiculous only in that they're 100% speculative. You're assuming one of our QB's (presumably POB or Gebbia) will transfer if they don't play even before either of them have played a single down at Nebraska. Again I say if that were the case then best of luck to either. To start thinking about transfers (their's a thread for that I believe) before either of them have played a down here or before knowing if either one of them can even emerge as being a decent starter here is putting the cart waaay before the horse.

You knock yourself out with that though.

All I know is that having 2 or 3 possible qb's that fit the system is a much better problem to have than the best guy not fitting the system, a walk on backup and no number 3. We should be celebrating, not arguing.

What's the word with this Bunch kid? Did not do much at Scottsdale Community College but I'm assuming he is here to just provide some depth

This keeps Gebbia away from any thought of burning his RS. Also will allow NU to effectively game plan for a handful of games. Like this very much.

We added a walk on Qb. Pretty sure that's not his twitter that Sean tagged though
I like the addition of what seems to be at least serviceable depth. I'd like to know how as a 3 star he ended at a CC, I assume grades as that seems to be the usual suspect.

In a perfect world we will be winning games by 40 at the half and both guys get ample playing time
I miss the 90's too.
Obviously this won't happen but it disturbed me how over the last couple of years we can't even blow out the "gimme" teams and get young guys playing time.
It's been more than the last couple years since we've been able to do this.
I was being generous. By couple I meant 10-15
