2021 Coaching Carousel

Our junior OL just went their for an unofficial game visit.  Loved the visit.  Tavita Thompson is coaching there.  He really liked the staff.
Seems like a good time to reflect on the first time Brian Kelly left his team, Central Michigan University.  He left immediately for Cincinnati who wanted him to immediately coach the bearcats in the bowl game.  So he did and became the first coach to defeat the same team (WMU) twice in the same season with different teams.

I don't think he's going to flop.  But, he's not going to win as much as their fans want and so he's going to be gone in less than 5 years.
Seems very possible.   If he doesn't win at least some SEC titles and Natty's he we be gone.

So if he basically duplicates his ND accomplishments he will be gone, and IMO even that will be tough in his new environment.

Haha that is a very good one.   Kelly did lose an ACC title game last year.   We will see how many SEC title games he ends up playing in.
I’m going to go out on a pretty strong branch and guess that as long as Nick Saban is at Alabama that number will be zero.
