Indiana getting shut down is what the deserved.  So far SMU trying to make something of a game vs PSU but they can't be making mistakes like they did on that 4th down play.

Honestly got annoyed at all the articles ripping on Indiana being in. Why even play the games if Indiana didn't make a 12 team playoff this season. Alabama, Ole Miss and South Carolina all had their chance and lost and all of those teams didn't play much tougher schedules than Indiana. Hell Alabama had a weaker SOS. I don't get the hand wringing at all, they earned their spot.

Alabama, Ole Miss and South Carolina all had their chance and lost and all of those teams didn't play much tougher schedules than Indiana. Hell Alabama had a weaker SOS. According to ESPN FPI SOS:

Indiana #32 (includes the ND game)

Alabama #18

Ole Miss #33

S Carolina #13

But Indiana is in a P4 conference and went 11-1.  Those teams will never be left out (and IMO should be in).

Also with the mega conferences, teams are going to draw easy schedules.  And you are not going to know they’re easy until after the season (IU played both of last year’s NC game participants).  Texas is a pretty good comp for IU, as they have 1 win over a top 25 team, but people rarely point that out because SEC.

I think Notre Dame is really good.  Wouldn’t be surprised if they beat UGA by 2 TDs.  And if that’s the case, then did UGA not belong in the playoffs?

I take great joy in the suffering of Notre Dame as so last night wasn’t great.

Teams like Indiana and SMU have such a small margin of error. Pressure and talent are getting to them.

This won’t be the last people hear of SMU though. This is just the beginning. $$$. They invented giving players money.

Also, 12 team playoffs!!! F8ck yes!!! Finally.

College football is awesome. I don’t care what any of the get off my lawn crew says.
