OSU was about to go up 28-0 and a missed PI call leads to a TN interception and now we are at 21-10.  Tennessee appears to have all the momentum so it should be a good second half.

Funny thing, I didn't watch that game.  I watched the FCS playoff games.  Both were great.

Most of those PIs were very bad, which left the officials no choice.

All of the games have been trash so far. The playoff has reinforced that we still live in a college football talent tier system.  Kind of had a feeling these games would be non competitive.  They'll get better as we go. Once the good teams are all that's left standing.

That's a fair evaluation of what happened this weekend but I'll defend the playoff and say I like seeing these teams have a chance. I think 4 was good maybe 8 would be better but at 12 you can't complain about indiana making it in. They deserved to be there. If you think it should be less teams I can understand that but I'm not mad at it how is. I think D2 has it right at a 32 team playoff. Fbs could do something similar using the p4 as a regional bracket. Top 7 from each power 4 and 1 g5 team thrown into each regional to give them a chance to compete for it all. Not sure of the perfect answer but I liked the home field first round despite the blowouts

Championships are supposed to be about determining who the #1 best team in the county is. How many teams are there that could make a reasonable case that they should be considered #1? That's how many teams should be in the playoff. I think we've seen a few seasons where that number was greater than four, but twelve? Nah.

Like there's no reasonable case to be made that Alabama is #1, period. The best argument their fans can make amounts to "Well I think we should be considered the twelfth best team!" :dumdum I mean who really cares about who's #12? Enjoy your trip to the Consolation Bowl and go away.
