2024 Congressional Election

it's been basically a toss up. But, it's been a long time since a Dem has had this much support.

What I've seen is she has a big margin in her polls and a close margin in his polls, and the NYT polls have been getting closer (although they have not done a poll for it often).

I don't think Fischer's ads have been great, especially not the ones that are pro-Fischer and not anti-Osborn. There was one she did awhile back where the ad started out talking about how Trump was supporting her, and I wasn't sure at first whether it was Osborn or Fischer who paid for the ad. I don't know that an ad in Omaha talking about Trump supporting you is a good idea.

Well, she ran the one where Trump was sitting in his plane and talking about how horrible Osborn is.  That about made me puke.

I still don't think she ever did any campaign meetings or town halls.  She refused to debate.  The only thing she did was take money from the party and ran ads.  Sorry, that doesn't cut it with me.

If Trump wins I think the best long term scenario would be for the Republicans to win the Senate and House. The only thing that makes me not think that is then they’d control election certification. So I suppose that’s risky enough I’d prefer the Democrats win the House.

It’s similar to me kind of wishing the ACA had gone away and McCain had voted with the Republicans. I know someone personally who could not get insured without the ACA and needed her meds to survive, and couldn’t afford them without insurance, but was and is a staunch Trump supporter. Those people need to learn the rammifications of what happens when he gets what he wants, since they won’t give any credit to the people who stop bad things from happening.

In Nebraska, Harris is up by 1 point and Osborn is up by 6.4 points.

I mention Harris because it tells where the numbers come from. Osborn could still lose because obviously the numbers are from Omaha and maybe Lincoln, but he’s doing a lot better than Harris.
