Well that's not what I want to hear! The surgery actually took twice as long as expected because there was more damage than anticipated, including some hanging cartilage from a "previous traumatic injury" that I didn't even know about. I'm only supposed to be in the sling now in week two for "comfort", and my post-op appointment is tomorrow. Then the PT begins again, fun!I had a slap tear in my right shoulder. My arm was in a sling for 8 weeks and I had almost 4 months of physical therapy after that. I also had a partial Labrum tear and a partial rotator cuff tear. My surgery was 12 years ago and sometimes the injury still bothers me.
