He got to start against La Tech (3-9), Rocky Lombardi-led Northern Illinois (7-6), Michigan (15-0*), Illinois (5-7), Northwestern (8-5) Purdue (4-8), Michigan State (4-8), and Maryland (8-5). That sure looks like a stretch that most of our QBs would have gone 5-3 or better in.
Yeah, totally different than our schedule this year up until USC. 2025 schedule was certainly a murderer's row and certainly not the easiest that Nebraska will face in the foreseeable future...
On another hand, you're absolutely correct, it's ridiculous to compare the winning percentage of a nationally elite 5* 3.5 million quarterback to a athlete/backup qb out of Kearney Catholic.
