You could be right but haven't you decided you are going to struggle with every decision made from this point forward? You don't think that if you did some looking you'd find a high recruited QB that was a backup at a major program that transferred somewhere and also did great?

If you believe Callahan, he was saying ND people told him Minchey was in a neck and neck battle with the QB that got the job. Isn't it possible that ND has more than one really great QB?

It's fine to take a guy like this, but Nebraska needs to find a P4 level starter with at least a season of starting under their belt. My guess is that Nebraska is going to take Minchey for depth and find a G5 level starter to be the guy.

If Nebraska doesn't find a player with starting experience, may god help us. Matt Rhule may have less than the two years I thought he did.

You think Minchey is going from being depth at ND, to being depth at Nebraska? Almost immediately after the portal opened?

I agree about the P4 starter….for competition though.
