Unless playing at Memorial 2024 really stuck with him we have no shot. He's possibly the best LT in college football right now, he can pick where he wants to go. He's someone everyone has room for, rosters are pretty flexible now and we would drop any number of specific players in a heartbeat if needed to make room for Seaton.

not going to happen for a multitude of reasons but they would absolutely make room.

So getting a boatload of transfers from 8-4 (5-4 conf) Iowa State gets you a number 2 portal ranking?

I feel like the portal season has gone about as good as it could have. We spent a lot of money on both lines and sprinkled in several other positions of need. If 50% of them work out, it will be considered a win.

I agree it seems to have gone about as good as it could have. But how do we have any idea if we spent “a lot” of money or not….or even what a lot of money would be for this portal class? The list of players doesn’t scream that we broke the bank or did anything radically different than usual to me.

But yeah I’m pretty satisfied with what we got.

Educated guess really. Linemen are expensive these days.
