Another new addition to the rankings, the Cornhuskers actually own the nation's longest win streak dating back to last season, winning four games to take the inaugural College Basketball Crown and then ripping off eight straight to open this 2025-26 campaign. The victory over Oklahoma looks better, too, after the Sooners won at Wake Forest. Rienk Mast has been awesome after missing all of last season with a knee injury; he's averaging 17.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Huskers are 42 at Ken Pom, 35 at Bart Torvik (T-Rank), 40 at Evan Miya, 39 in ESPN's BPI & 12 in ESPN's SOR after yesterday's win.

Going to have to stack up some wins in conference before they give us credit. I'm ok with that. Beat Wisconsin to tie for the best start ever here at Nebraska!
 
Having followed Nebraska basketball since the Joe Cipriano days, I'm very cautious about jumping on the bandwagon but may have to start.

My dad & I started going to games during the Cipriano era. First year we had season tickets was the year Cip & Iba were co-head coaches (79-80), but we went to most of the games the previous year.
