If they beat Illinois on the road after winning against Wisconsin they will have earned a big bump.

That would be top 15 territory. I honestly feel they are truly a fringe top 25 team right now but they won't compete at the very high levels against the Michigan type of teams. Hopefully good enough to get a decent tourney bid and get that first win under their belt.

Based on what I've seen lately from Michigan, I'm not sure any team can play at their level.

I think that's fair. They would have to shoot better than they did against Creighton to have a chance. Truth be told if Potts returns as her old self, the women could be Top 15 though.

They are a fun team to watch. Sure hope everyone is tuning in for the games. This might be the best Nebraska basketball team in history. Tough road test ahead but defense travels and the boys will be locked in. If we can shoot average from 3, I like our chances.

After last night's win Huskers 26th at Ken Pom, 27 at Bart Torvik (T-Rank), 32 at Evan Miya, 14 in the NET (based on the above post because NCAA's website hasn't updated), 27 in ESPN's BPI & 9th in ESPN's SOR.

T-Rank gives them a 97.9% chance to make the tournament.

Yeah the nice thing with this Illinois game is that, so long as they're competitive, a loss really means very little. It's a no-lose situation.
