And I came straight to the thread to see how many complaints there were about not being red.

I like the jerseys and the idea.

I know some fans on other Husker sites are not happy about this, probably because they are old farts.

I won't be at that game but I would wear black. How much would it cost to just hand out cheap black ponchos to guarantee eveyone is in black? If Penn St can pull off a white out why can't Nebraska turn to the Black Sea for one night?

No kidding...

Or hell, the bookstores can get some in bulk, it would probably cost them 3 dollars a shirt and they could sell them for 5 or 10 dollars. It is a win win.

Nobody wants to repeat anything from the Frost era.

I think I like the old Blackshirts set more then this all black and white one. That red touch on the shoulder numbers, conference patch and chinstrap etc help.

Kind of agree... the guys complaining about the sell out sellout streak will claim the seats are empty. The sea of red is impressive... the other "color" outs are an attempt to recreate that imo. All of that said, I'll play along and wear black.
