3 Reasons I dislike Mike Leach, share yours!

1. Before he got into coaching Leach's primary focus in life was on studying law. Maybe it's just me but he has always come accross to me as reptilian in nature and looked like he belonged on one of those 1-800 Personal injury commercials. That combined with never playing a down of football and a lack of knowledge on the fundamentals of defense make me dislike his resume.

2. Leach conducts himself like a backwoods hick in his speech, body language and mannerisms. There is obviously a fundamental lack of serious respect between the coach and his players which has been demonstrated in the past and plays out for everyone to see when many of the players look and act like prison yard thugs. This makes me dislike him as a person.

3. With arrogance that makes Kanye West look modest. Leach leads his team to 84-7 wins over Division II schools echoing the mantra, "I'm just running my offense." Running up the score on anyone his Red Raiders get an advantage, showing a complect lack of sportsmanship and general respect of others combined with his loose handle on his players makes me dislike Mike Leach the coach.

Please, share your opinions.
This is the only problem I have. And it makes me so glad when teams absolutely trounce tech and take a turn letting them taste their own medicine. Texas Tech is a joke. With that gimmicky offense and consistently bad defenses, they will always finish in the bottom half of the big 12 south... year after year. Even in their best year as a football team, they got destroyed by a team in the same division.

I think he's smart, hilarious, and a good coach. I don't think he's really that arrogant, he just doesn't give a sh#t about what people think of him and I can respect that.

The only thing I would have against him is the LDS kind of wierds me out. But I don't know if he's really all that devout or not. Sorry if I offend any Mormons on the board and I guess I shouldn't hold a person's religion against him but some of the practices are a bit much for me.

I love the guy. Like many of the others, I think he's funny, smart, crazy like a fox and good at his job. He's got a great mind for the game. On top of all of that, he loves pirates.

70-10

Enough said.

That was more Callafraud than it was Leach.
Right, and the fact that NU turned the ball over like 7 times that day made it nearly impossible for Tech not to score at least 70... But that doesn't mean it won't feel good to get them back someday.
And let's hope this Saturday is that someday.

LeKevin Smith is not playing this Saturday..............Right?

7 turnovers. How many of those came against the first string defense?(if you could call Texas Tech's D a "first string") Although it's a TT defense, it is still a first string. Also, Leach apparently cant figure out how to navigate to the "In-game Strategy" menu so he could manage his depth chart. He calls pass plays every play, regardless of the score, which is what makes him a d!(k. I really only dislike him for one thing: his existence.
