I have been too many "HOT" game days and it seems with each passing year it gets a bit warmer. I do not recall the Akron game in 97 but I am getting old so?
Last year that S.Miss game was miserable and yes they did run out of bottled water which for the older people was a concern. Under these types of conditions I would think they would allow people to bring in water rather than letting them pass out from heat exhaustion because like anywhere, some people can't afford to buy that high priced bottled water. Price is not an issue to me when it comes down to keeping hydrated or for snacks, but there are those who can't flip the bill or it may be their first time to the stadium and they are not aware of how much $$$ they need to have on hand.
I wonder how that New East Expansion is going to feel in the direct sun till 7:30 or 8:00 PM. In the winter, the sun will keep people warmer over there but in the summer months, it may be a scorcher (although they will probably get a good breeze up there)?
