I get what your saying, seriously I do, but I don't think taking positives from a loss is not necessarily making lame excuses for the team. There were positives to be taken from the VT game, alot of negatives to be sure, but there was alot of good play as well. Everything is relative I suppose, you said 'It is not giving up 35 points to an average Va Tech team and then turning around and being happy about it.' and yet the '97 team, ranked number 1 in the country, gave up what, 38 points? to an unranked Missouri team and it was an instant classic. I am seldom a 'glass is half full' type but, in my oppinion, this team is signigicantly better than the team we had last year at this time.
