According to HCMR he may have a minor injury set back in the fall and fell behind the guys we brought in and others. HCMR liked our depth, so it was a mutual decision to redshirt. That is what lead me to speculate he was going to the portal. Glad he decided to stay!

I think it’s a mixture. Rhule has said a few times in press conferences that he tells the team often that the grass isn’t always greener. McGahee I think would have gotten P4 interest and decided to come back. Prude, Parrot, would have had to drop down a level and I can understand why guys who are used to custom made smoothies and iPads in their locker might not want to do that. Tarver, I’m not sure, but he has enough potential to maybe land in the ACC or Big12.
