I think the news of them not making the combine is huge. 

It is a wait and see. All it takes is one GM to say "We will draft you if you are there for us and here is our plan for you" to lose a guy.

My hope is they give both guys things they can work on and both realize if Nebraska succeeds and gets to the dance they can potentially get eyes on them.

 
He isn't here to stay as an asst coach.  Mid-Major coach after this season would be my guess...unless he proves that he really can get Chicago/St. Louis talent, in which case he will be off to a school like Mizzo.

He's young, so I was guessing he would be heading to head job in 2 to 3 years.
