actually they're exactly the same. according to sportsknowhow.com, NCAA, NFL and CFL goal posts are "10 feet high and 18 feet, 6 inches wide".The field goal posts are probably twice as wide or something stupid like that.
the CFL certainly can't compare to the general talent level in the NFL. not even close. but as for kickers? in the CFL its the exact SAME thing, down to the inch. only maybe a little colder. and the end zones are something like 20 yards deep.
I would love to find a concrete reason for Sandro's amazing improvement in his post-Husker career but a difference goal post width ain't it.
for now, my guess is still that Canadian weather. maybe it just wasn't cold enough for him in LincolnThat seems like the only way they could get Sandro to make a field goal in my opinion.

as for Benard. if he has a chance in the AFL he'll have to learn an offensive position in their ironman system. maybe fullback?
