Again, no. While you and experts like "Bonchie" are obsessing with terrorist simps in Michigan, there's a concerted effort among multiple Western allies to complete the pier and provide aid to an utterly devastated Palestine. Both Hamas and Israel are making this difficult. Only an a$$h@!e would suggest not even trying.

Good thing no one here or in the post suggested not even trying.  Super Glad there are no a$$h@!es amongst us  :thumbs .  
 

Wouldn’t be super duper awesome if the suggestions and ideas to help an utterly devastated group of people were actually helpful and worked.   That would be cool.

Yep, let’s just skip the part before that :facepalm: .  Oh well, i guess it’s SOP to throw out thoughts and prayers for the murderous tyrants who pass away. Who knew :dunno .  Here goes nothing. 

Thoughts and prayers Joe on your loss.  I’m sure the Iranian moles in your administration whose bidding your administration are devastated.  Keep in mind that Time heals all wounds as you get past your hours and days of grief.

Who are the Western allies that are completing the pier? I hadn't heard this.

It would be great. The problem is that the terrorist infrastructure is stealing the aid, and the host country is actively opposing the support and occasionally killing aid workers. Multiple countries are involved in the effort, which you may have noticed is taking place in pure chaos. If you or Bonchie have a plan for guaranteeing aid to to the people who need it, we're all ears. But we both know this about blaming Biden in the most hyperbolic terms possible.

Bit of a leap from "expresses its official condolences" to "thoughts and prayers" wouldn't you say? 

Read the whole thing again and tell me what message Iran should take from it.

Not the physical pier itself, but the operation and some of the funding

The U.S. is also working closely with Cyprus, the government of Israel, the U.N. and international donors including the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and European Union as part of the multi-step process to move aid into Gaza from the sea.

International donors first ship aid into Cyprus where it is screened and packaged before being loaded onto ships to be transported to the temporary pier.  

"This is a complex humanitarian aid mission that requires continuous coordination between many partners," said Dan Dieckhaus, the director of USAID's response operations. "The support and contributions of the U.N., the government of Cyprus and other international partners, including the U.K., European Union, United Arab Emirates, France, Romania and others is vital, as is the cooperation of Israel." 

 
A couple weeks ago there was a headline "China surrounds Taiwan," which in my book would be the biggest and most ominous story of the year. Then pretty much nothing.

I saw that and was just praying that it was posturing.  I just can't really figure out China's approach on this.  If they get into it with Taiwan, are they thinking that would draw our attention away from Israel and Ukraine?  Or, are they thinking Israel and Ukraine are taking so much of our attention that we don't care about Taiwan?

Or, do they not even care about us and it's all about threatening Taiwan?  If that's it, what did Taiwan do recently that caused them to act like that?
