I wish we ran tech's offense. Now that is fun to watch if you want to pass the ball.
:yeah

On a lighter note, did anyone think it was funny how OU RAN the ball almost nonstop the last quarter and a half?!? Their QB situation is just disgusting...and aren't they getting BETTER recruits than everyone else? :rollin

They didn't acctualy attempt a pass in the second half. Every single play was a run.

Thanks Jake...that's kinda what I thought...talk about 'second half adjustments'

Tech's offense? You are joking right? Tech's offense is unwatchable.
Why?
All they do is pass. I will give Leach credit for his offensive mind when it comes to passing, but you can't win a conference title, let alone a National championship if all you're going to do is pass the ball. You have to find a balance between passing and rushing. Even high powered passing teams (Florida St in the 90's, Florida in 96) that have won National titles have done it with some good rushing gameplans. Just like our rushing attack under Solich became predictable, Leach's passing is becoming to predictable and that's why teams like OU, Texas, Oklahoma St and Texas A&M have dominated them over the past few years. It's easy to wear down your opponent by rushing the ball and playing smash mouth football and punishing the opponents front 4, it's not that easy to wear down your opponent when all you do is pass. Untill Leach finds a happy medium, Tech will continue to finish 3rd and 4th in the South division each year

shows you how overrated recruiting is.

I think they can, but even if you think they can't how is it unwatchable. I think its exciting as heck to watch.

To me it shows the importance of having a qb that has got a few snaps as a backup. J. White played for what 5, 6 years? They ran up the score and hardly ever played anyone else when they could of . Now they are feeling the effects.

Im sorry, but I dont find swing pass left, swing pass right, crossing pattern very entertaining. They dont stretch the field vertically. Its kind of like option left, option right, but without the awesome playfake bomb to the tight end. Their offense is like watching the skeleton drill during practice. Boring.
