I think people overreacted regarding the big play offense under Taylor Martinez. Yes, it would have been great for that offense to be more consistent, but it drives me nuts when fans say they prefer offenses which churn out a few yards at a time and take their time to score. It's proven that offenses score more points by creating big plays.Remember when people complained that we had too many big plays with Other Martinez and no consistency?
I would love to have that again just by itself, but with New Martinez maybe we can have both. I think he’s better and I think our OC is a lot better.

That was the problem with Riley/Lansdorf's offense. It didn't create enough big plays, especially in the running game. That forced the offense to go numerous plays to score, which led to a greater chance of having the drive stall out via penalty, sack, or turnover.Yes I agree. Being able to do a couple 30+ yard TD runs every game would go a long way towards getting more victories.
