Bold Predictions - Preseason Edition

My biggest bold prediction is that Stanley Morgan won't get 1,000 yards receiving. There's some voodoo that makes it an impossible accomplishment at Nebraska.

We end up ranked #20-25 for at least one week.

Stanley Morgan named All-Big Ten WR and gets drafted midway through the 2nd round.

Caleb Lightbourn makes All-Big Ten too.

We win (at least) 8 regular season games.

We're going to Peter/Wistrom "out tough" some teams this year, without a doubt.

EDIT: We're going undefeated at home, too.

Gebbia starts the first 3 games and plays ok. After a rough loss to Michigan where he fails to make plays with his legs Martinez takes over and never looks back.

Mo Barry leads the team in tackles

We see 1000 All Purpose Yards and the emergence of Tyjon Lindsey

We beat colorado by 4+ Touchdowns

and, College Gameday is in Lincoln, Nebraska for the first time in over a decade (MSU game)

At the end of the year we go to a bowl and beat a top 10 team.

Huskers are picked #1 in next year's preseason poll.

Dedrick Young accumulates enough tackles to make it into the top 5 all-time tacklers list at Nebraska.

Stanley Morgan and JD Spielman both get 1,000 yards receiving.

We get a 1,000-yard rusher in Greg Bell.

We get blown out in more than one game.

Nebraska goes undefeated at home.

I'd add Wiscy, they will likely be ranked in the top 10 and no one would expect us to beat them.

Regardless I think they're favored. They play us in week 6, but week 4 they play Iowa and we play Michigan. Would a 5-0 Nebraska be a big shock against a 3-1 Wisconsin, given people's trending opinion of Nebraska? I think going into Wisconsin under those conditions we would be the upset pick of the year.
