I have looked at other boards too but my point is a non fan of that team is not going to know the team, staff, players, consistent gripes and just ins and outs of the team like vested fans. Also we see all the Facebook posts etc from fellow Nebraskans because of common friends etc. I doubt most in the state are seeing what all the Alabama, lsu, or Florida residents are posting. 
 

So I am sure some people lurke on other boards for fun but don’t act like you are an expert on the rest of the country by doing so.

I'm saying the sample size on either side is far too small to be a good representation.

I have lived in 21 states,  and played in college.  I have friends all over the country that are die hard fans of many of the top teams.   My FIL is a die hard fan of another B1G team since he grew up there.   I have been a Nebraska fan since seeing them play Oklahoma on my families old console TV in 1980....  I also dated a journalist in college who remains a life long friend.  I do have a good pulse on other fan bases and you sir can kiss off.  You have no idea who other posters are on this site.

Tell me more about this sport journalist?! You met her in Lincoln around 1980. Or a bit before?
