Callahan: I'm staying positive.

What's he going to say? "Help, I don't know what I'm doing". We have more questions than he has answers for right now. I just know we are 100 & something in the country in offense and I never believed I would see that ever.

yep, just as i suspected , things will not change as far as the multiple motion drills and shifts........hell we don't need a tough defense to play against, when all we do is confuse ouselves with this endless shifting, which doesn't fool anyone else on the defense anyway.....so, if it doesn't work why the hell keep doing it? when it just results in penalties to the offense? (just like he continued to run the 2 TE set, even in the 2nd half)...this is the stubborn sh#t that Callahan will continue to do and will be of NO benefit to our team! this guy will NOT learn from his mistakes :WTH

A tight end that lines up wrong 5 times in a game after not doing it in the previous two games is Callahan's mistake? I may have missed it, but did he run out there and put him in the wrong place?

Sorry, but you learn in high school football how many guys are on the line and how many in the back field. The kid has to use his brain at some point.

 
it is not the same kid, making the same mistakes, is it?? does the shifting really have a benefit? so far has it provided a benefit? someone enlighten me here??

oh, and i guess we should blame the players for runing the same old TE set that was a piece of genuis too? come on Dave, Cally has shown a case of the "dumb a$$" more than he has shown any offensive prowess.....he has to show me a helluva alot more in 2 weeks........

I'm not saying he hasn't. I am just saying at some point, the kids on the field have to use their noggin. Especially with things as elementary as lining up right.

 
Show me a time where either Solich or Osborne bashed the team! Lets be fair here, I am sure he is trying to work with what he has. O-Line is a tough position in this system so suck it up and quit whining! The Huskers will be back but not tomorrow, ok?

What's he supposed to say? All of our offensive guys stink. All the offensive coaches stink.(don't bother answering that former) Of course the guy is going to try and stay positive.

3 games 3 wins that's enough for me.

 
Remember how much of trouble he got in at Oakland for calling his team dumb, i think he has learned his lesson.

I just dont understand it. Pre-season we were worried about how we would beat WF and Pitt and now that we have we feel we can bash the team because they aren't playing like we want them to. Um, guys as ugly as that last win was it was a win.

A wins a win a win a win....and on and on

Until we lose lets not get disheartened. I feel it too guys the O needs major improvement but heck we are half way to a bowl folks. :clap
