Callahan/Pelini/Riley... (Who was the worst?) Megathread

They're different types of losses- the disappointing loss- where teams are even and a good game was played (last year Wisconsin).  Then there's the "Wow, we are on the Crux of the Return to the Promise Land and then got Clobsnockered in Embarrassing Fashion on Primetime and National TV" Wisconsin B10 championship and Ohio State 2016, loss.  Then there's the ""Wow, we are on the Crux of the Return to the Promise Land and We Almost Won and My Heart is Full" Texas 2009, loss.

And then there is the "Fire Everyone" loss.

At least Cally had great quotes.  "Restor the order", "Burn the boats".  Who can forget the throats slash gesture....

1) Wisconsin 2012

2) Ohio State 2016

6) Kansas 2007

7) Wisconsin 2014

All of the above. They all stunk.

And our administration has stunk since then also so I blame them too.

Both considered, and would be 4 and 5, but clearly below those top 3.
Purdue was bad, but it reminded me of Iowa State 2009 where it just seemed like if anything could go wrong did go wrong. We were also plagued with injuries for that game.

the Wisconsin B1G game was so brutally embarrassing because it seemed if we were going to win a conf title, that was the year. We got lucky to face the 3rd ranked team in the B1G Leaders due to Ohio State and Penn State sanctions, and we had already beaten Wisconsin that season. Then we come out and just get destroyed and embarrassed to at the time a 7-5 team. It was bad.

I thought Pelini, at the time was, the type of coach we needed. Don't think he was a "bad" hire, but he may have overstayed his welcome by a year or two.

Also 2014 Wisconsin and 2014 Minnesota were bad.

Once again ranked 11th in the country seemingly having a good season with promise and we go to Madison Wisconsin to take on 22nd ranked Badgers and get embarrassed.
