CB/FS Reggie Smith

Not only are we not going to settle for lesser tier athletes, I actually think we are going to run out of room and miss some top notch recruits. Seems like there are more really good players very interested in being N than we can let in the door. That has to be a very good indication for the rest of this class and should spill right over for next year. :cheers :clap

I think that Reggie has a wonderful career in politics after football.An Iowa state hat, watches BCS selection with Stoop,hangs with Neb. recruits at AAA game. He is the king of spin. He has to be sitting back and laughing knowing that he has EVERYONE freaking confused. I still think that he has known for a while where he is going. We better get him or there will be a person from the republican party trying to recruit him next. lol

Yea, that or he is taking the time and opportunity to weigh every option. :) I know I would. Why the hell not? You are 18 years old, you can take official (paid for) visits all around the country. It could be one the most important decisions he has had to make in his life. ;) I just hope he decides to come here.

 
Well I see that having a sense of humor is not a wise thing to display around you. Yes I know his age. I also know that he is an awesome talent.Once again I think that he has his mind made up . Judging from local media,articles on certain pay recruiting sites, and just a gut feeling.I also dont blame him a bit for taking all the time he wants. I watched several videos of him on both sides of the ball. He plays on a whole different level.

I agree though. Like a lot of our recruits this year, he seems to be head and shoulders above the players he has played with.

Reggie is at Texas A&m this weekend. News from the so called experts around here is they expect an announcement next week early. Cross your fingers everyone. Neb. AND USC. Pete Carrol is reportedly to make a personal visit on Monday. Hope that doesnt sway him too much.
