The year of leverage for college football coaches.
Reportedly got an extension from ND amid the NFL Giants/Titans considerations and rumors. Of course, just like every HC got one when their name was "floating around" for other jobs. Feels like their were 10 head coaches as "possible candidates to leave" and then BOOM! they hit the lottery to stay with an extension to make them one of the highest paid coaches....

I think so too. Plus NW has that snazzy new stadium to stay warm in.
I also think Fitzgerald at MSU did great by getting Sheridan (co-OC/QB Alabama). He even went to Michigan (plaid QB). And Joe Rossi is a good DC that he kept.
Michigan State is going to be good again since the days of D'Antonio. Probably a tough, physical team every year that teams will overlook while not excited to play against them either. Good ol' 8-4 recordss
