DE Kevin Young

Well he'll have to decide sooner rather then later, next couple weeks, he's graduating HS in a couple weeks.

Maybe, he just wait to the January spring semester and enrolls in a certain school.

The KU fans say Mangino recruits the ole fashioned honor thing way, BS, he came from OU. Those chicken hawks are a funny bunch.
Don't all of the spring guys need to decide fairly soon so that they can take care of all of the admin type stuff for enrolling?

I'd like to see kids able to sign the LOI once they have made a decision.

Working at a University- you'd be surprised how fast they can push that stuff through. They could even wait until the first week of classes.

I don't know if there are more admin concerns with athletics and the NCAA but I'm guessing that the athletic dept could get all of the admin handled even faster for a star recruit than for a "normal" student.

It may also be the case that the NCAA stuff isn't as big of a concern for guys smart enough to graduate early. They are NOT going to be stuck in the clearing house. Of course maybe that stuff doesn't matter until the fall.

:dunno (but that won't keep me from speculating)

This thread is gonna get ugly in a few minutes ..
Uh oh what happened?
Is the Rivals teaser not indicative:

One of three prospects joining the Nebraska program for the spring semester is defensive end Kevin Young. Here is the next in our series of "Getting to know you" features, which will highlight each member of the 2009 class starting with these early graduates. Today's features Young will be arriving in Lincoln this weekend for good.

Enrolled at KU?

To say the recruiting process has been a wild ride for Kevin Young might be an understatement. The highly regarded defensive end from Olathe had originally committed to the Jayhawks during the summer. But during the Thanksgiving break he decided to commit to Nebraska. On Friday Young made a last minute decision to stay with his original choice and just minutes away from home.

What an idiot...don't come play for the best defensive mind in the country, go play for a d-coordinator in his 2nd year of experience. Good luck....see you in the pros, right??

:wtf
