Was hoping to see Guy Thomas on here. He is raw, but will have a good career for us. I still like Ferguson and hope he gets PT. 

At this point we would get 8 back on offense and 8 back on defense for 2018 and that brutal schedule it brings. Knevel, Hoppes, and DPE only losses on offense (DPE only proven player thus far). Newby, Kalu, and Weber on defense. A good year for Lee to get under his belt and 3-4 defense to get down pat. Could set up for a special year if we can go out and prove it for the tough road schedule. 

But here's to 2017  :cheers

And McNitt is a senior. Note that there's 13 offensive starters listed, so we'd get back 9 of 13.

Its because Newby is better in pass coverage.  He has been our best LB when it comes to that. 

 
Looks like a football team with names and numbers to me.  I think maybe the beloved Cornhuskers of Nebraska are being overlooked by the pundits.
