I have a friend who played for the Huskers during the late 80's, and he pretty much has said the same things about TO. You put 5 guys in the same spot at the same time, and you'll probably get at least as many as 3 different accounts as to what went on. I've read the book about Berringer's life, and well it's not exactly accurate. It's amazing how bad we tend to try to make people out to be after their fired, but how great we try to make them out to be if they die early. Look at JFK for instance. People make him out to the greatest ever. However, if he hadn't been assassinated, he could easily be compared to Clinton with all of his indiscretions. This book is nothing more than one person's thoughts. If a book was written about BC's coacing ability, it could put him in a positive light or in a negative light. I just don't put much stock in the accounts of a meat squad player.
