Michigan State three-star OLB signee Drake Martinez must sit out next season and will have two seasons of eligibility starting in 2016.

So he probably won't play against DONU unless it's in the B1G Championship

It's nice to see the Big Ten making the right call on a transfer, even if it doesn't benefit us. He was at a JUCO for 2014, why should he have to sit out a year at MSU?

I got to be honest, I couldn't care less what Drank Martinez is doing. He left this program and went to a conference opponent. I hope a Husker player takes the opportunity to plant his a$$ into the dirt when they get the chance, for old times sake.

I am not sure why he ever came here in the first place. IMO MSU was where he really wanted to go coming out of HS.

Think he's a phenomenal athlete without a real good fit... also not sure he had/has the mentality/physicality to be an effective defensive player, which may be why they made this move. He's dynamic, so you want to get him involved somehow.
