Duval's S&C - Year 2

If he uses metal collars they can weigh that much.

I’ve had the plastic ones slip before, and that was with 45lbs. I wouldn’t want to use them on an 800lb squat.
What the hell kind of collars do you use that weigh 5-10 lbs??? :P

I don’t but I know they exist. I assume they’re safer. But when you have spotters on each side of the bar it probably doesn’t matter.

Also the guy was talking adding 5-10lbs to the bar so that’s 2.5-5lbs each.

They are really useful for weightlifting competitions where you need an exact number on the bar taking the collars into account. Here is a rundown of pretty much every type of collar imaginable (even the Husker Power collars made the list!). The good stuff is on the bottom of the list.

Not sure who that is at the 16-second mark but it almost looked like Zig in the couple of seconds he was up.

I think it might be Dedrick Mills. Similar hair and hairline and a tattoo on the right arm, also a necklace and an earring. (I'm sure lots of the guys have a tattoo on their arms but it looks like it could be his).

Khalil Davis was also one of the players cited by Scott Frost as having squatted 800 pounds this summer. Davis also pointed out that he has been doing box jumps at the same level as Nebraska’s skill position players, as well.
