its not like he's looking to take another LB job. Moving up to a DC is a huge step up. And that actually speaks well of Pelini in that his coaches are being sought after. That attracts the best guys when you do need to fill an opening. He's a hell of a recruiter and I would hate to lose him, but at the same time a DC job I cant blame him for taking.This really bites, but I guess it is just a reality of the "New NCAA" - seems like anything to do with sports goes to the highest bidder anymore, loyalty to a school or franchise is nothing more than the past anymore.
:dunno but the USF head coach is a D guy so he probably is interested in putting in someone like-minded who he can mentor. Seems to be working for the Pelinis.Does anybody here think he's ready to be a DC?
