AC Milan Terminate Contract With Ronaldinho

The Brazilian held a press conference in Rio de Janeiro along with his agent/brother Roberto De Assis and Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani on Thursday.

Galliani confirmed that the two parties have decided to cancel the contract.

"Milan officially announces that it has accepted the request for Ronaldinho, but we have not terminated the contract with the player."

"We are determined to help him return to play in Brazil, although this causes a great pain to [Milan President Silvio] Berlusconi. I will not leave Brazil until the player has chosen his new team."

Liverpool Fire Hodgson; Replace With Kenny Dalglish

In a statement on the club's official website, John Henry, the principal owner of the club, commented: "We are grateful for Roy's efforts over the past six months, but both parties thought it in the best interests of the club that he stand down from his position as team manager. We wish him all the best for the future."

"We are delighted that Kenny Dalglish has agreed to step in and manage the team for Sunday's FA Cup tie at Old Trafford and for the remainder of the season."

Roy Hodgson Receives $7.5m In Severance From Liverpool

The News of the World claims that Liverpool paid Hodgson the remaining $7.5m of his $3 million/year contract in severance.

Ronaldinho Reaches Agreement With Flamengo

Brazilian club Flamengo have confirmed via their official website that they have signed Ronaldinho on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

AC Milan will be paid $3 million for the transfer, and the 30-year-old will earn $130,000 per week. The former FIFA World Player of the Year is expected to be presented officially to the media on Thursday.
