Favorite Cover Tunes

I saw him do a solo acoustic (had a cellist as backup for a few songs) concert last fall and it was very cool. He played some Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog, and some cover songs.

He has a great and unique voice, that can sing a lot of different songs. I don't think Billie Jean was on the set list when I saw him perform.

Almost before my time...I didn't ''discover'' it until my early 30s...

I didn't like country music much, but I loved the recording quality of this one..Listen to it on vinyl if you ever get the chance.

I never really considered Crazy a cover. Willie Nelson wrote songs for other people before he was a performer. He originally wrote it for a fellow named Billy Walker, who turned it down.

The Nashville country music scene has always been very odd. There are the writers, and then there are the singers/performers. That's how they run their music industry there.

When Willie went to Nashville, they made him clean-cut, and he didn't fit in there, because he wanted to be a singer/songwriter. That's why he went back to Texas and became the legend that he is now.
