Shatel's column seemed to think there will be coaching changes coming.  Does his contract end at the first of the year?

Not positive on that, but that is the rumblings.  I think all assistant coaches had/have 2 year contracts. No need to fire the guy a month or two before the contract ends.

See I can't find anything about the contact end dates but I think Foley's son is on staff. There was Edward Foley Jr making $550k and Edward Foley III making $42k
