Liberals that keep guns are not liberals…they are saying they are liberals to fit in with what their friends claim to be.

it is like dudes that say they are 6 feet tall.  No one is exactly 6 feet tall, they are lying to make themselves sound better…trust me, I know, I’m 6 feet tall.

My god, there would be SO many crazy gun lovers that would FINALLY be lying about their height to NOT be 6 foot.  

The DMV would have lines out the door with gun loving nuts trying to get the info on their license changed!

Well yeah no kidding.  It ain’t there business or livelihood in danger either.   That’s a wildly different scenario than a small business owner defending his/her business

If we are gonna do that, then yes there is a third option technically.  Defend yourself, don’t defend yourself and be at the mercy of the intruder, or flee the house.  
 

It is quite amazing to me that for people to just insinuate that…..well I know you’ve put your blood sweat and tears into this business and all your families income depends on it functioning and not burning to the ground or being looted and destroyed by rioters, but stay the hell out and just let those rioters do what they wanna do.   When they are done, you can just fight with the insurance people about getting paid back whole for 6 months while you wonder how you’re gonna pay the bills.   Oh, and tough s#!t for the employees while the business is closed.  
 

I don’t own a business and have no idea what I would actually do, but I have no issue if someone wants to protect what’s there’s and if an intruder wants to f#&% around, well, he/she is also welcome to find out what the store owner has to say about it.

Just for the sake of comparison, it's still miles away from someone reacting to a home invasion.

Kyle drove 20 miles. A friend in Kenosha was keeping the AR-15 for him, cause Kyle was underage at the time. 

I'm going to bill you for making me look this up.

I also have no issue with someone protecting what's theirs, and I don't think many do. If I had a friend or loved one, or even an acquaintance or a stranger, who owned a store in the middle of some riots I would definitely tell them to stay safe and encourage them to protect their life over their livelihood, but wouldn't hold it against them if they went that route.

I don’t have an issue if they choose to protect their business/livelyhood. That is their prerogative. But it is a much different scenario than being surprised in the middle of the night by a home intruder. They could choose to play it safe, not place themselves in a dangerous situation and rely on the insurance company (that they should have carefully selected for such an eventuality). One situation is unexpectedly thrust upon them and one they have chosen to place themselves in harms way to defend their assets. Again, fine, but I wouldn’t do it with my business. I have confidence in my insurance and I don’t need to be playing hero for something that doesn’t need to be life threatening.

Surely you can see the difference?
