Well yeah no kidding. It ain’t there business or livelihood in danger either. That’s a wildly different scenario than a small business owner defending his/her business
If we are gonna do that, then yes there is a third option technically. Defend yourself, don’t defend yourself and be at the mercy of the intruder, or flee the house.
It is quite amazing to me that for people to just insinuate that…..well I know you’ve put your blood sweat and tears into this business and all your families income depends on it functioning and not burning to the ground or being looted and destroyed by rioters, but stay the hell out and just let those rioters do what they wanna do. When they are done, you can just fight with the insurance people about getting paid back whole for 6 months while you wonder how you’re gonna pay the bills. Oh, and tough s#!t for the employees while the business is closed.
I don’t own a business and have no idea what I would actually do, but I have no issue if someone wants to protect what’s there’s and if an intruder wants to f#&% around, well, he/she is also welcome to find out what the store owner has to say about it.
