Henery on kickoffs

First kickoff in the Eagles' preseason game - he put it 8 yards into the end zone. Living in Eagles territory, I certainly hope he does well, or I'll have to hear it from my in-laws. Make me proud, young man!

 
Now it's a fair question: why didn't we play our new guy at punter last year, redshirt Adi and put Alex on kickoffs?

I was against it at the time, but...

Adi wanted to redshirt, Bo wasn't having it. I don't think Bo had much faith in him as a place-kicker.

Edit: plus, I really doubt we had a better punter on the roster than Alex.

Not an Eagles fan, but will pay attention to them as a Henery fan, hope he does well, he should have a good team around him. That said...not too confident *yet* about Husker kicking for this year. Hopefully it doesn't put more pressure on us to put it into the endzone all the time, but if Beck's offense can do it, I'm all for it :)

 
I know David Akers signed with another team so is Henery expected to handle the everyday kicking duties?

 
There was a thread in here earlier that said he is doing two of the three, but cannot remember which ones.
